WHAT TYPES OF DOCUMENTS DO FOREIGNERS NEED TO APPLY FOR A TEMPORARY RESIDENT CARD?

This topic is for the foreigners who intend to stay and work for a long time in Vietnam and wish to apply for a temporary resident card (TRC). The TRC application procedure is very simple. You need to prepare:
– TRC Application form for foreigners
– TRC Information form for foreigners
– 02 photos of 02×03 cm
– Work permit or work permit exemption certificate, investor certificate, business registration certificate, position appointment decision, marriage certificate, etc. (the type of documents needed shall be based on specific case)
– Certificate of temporary residence registration certified by the public security of the ward or commune where the foreigner resides.
– Original passport valid for more than 1 year.
– Letter of introduction, Power of attorney authorizing the Vietnamese representative to perform the TRC application procedures.
